what’s in a day’s…

a question for the ages as much as it’s possibly a well-needed awakening for the many of us – it’s a question that arrives front and center for us all as we head off to the finish of the day and reflect on what we made of it – some days it’s far too easy to say there’s always tomorrow and some days that’s entirely vital in our very well-being in beginning again in whatever endeavor that may be to get it right this time – then on some days we’re possibly coming to a quantum change in perspective altogether thereby changing the over-riding direction we’ll now be heading in our life – it’s a happy question, it’s a heavy question and it’s one only you can answer as everything that is your life initially comes from within – some days seem to glide along effortlessly and then there’re the days when you wonder how fast you can get to the other side of the world – it seems we’ve all likely been there and that’s just fine yet the wisdom’s in looking back on the day that just happened and realizing where we happened to the day to positive effect and where the day seemed to unravel on us everything the opposite – in reflecting here i’ve come to learn that everything i once felt that was unfair was actually perfectly fine as it’s what i didn’t realize i needed and further it’s what was inevitably leading me right to where i’m at – and where i’m at in many ways is so far ahead of where i was just a few fast years ago to the point i can’t believe i didn’t in fact run everyone in my life off to a distant star – well maybe i wasn’t that clueless and blind but then again, ha!

anyway what i’ve further come to learn is the great guiding lesson of the silver linings and slowing down just enough to find them, gain from them and live by them beginning that very moment forward – and this is where we end up at night whether we’re with a companion or whether we’re there all by ourselves possibly feeling completely alone in the world or maybe far better in thriving in the sanctity of treasured time together with just ourself and our maker – and visiting that place from time to time if not each and every day i’ve found to be absolutely vital – for it’s in this wonderful place with God where we not only come to know him for the better but we likewise get to know ourselves so much better than ever before – it’s in this place where so much more of everything in the way that we’d like it somehow comes to find a foundation in then leading our happening to life instead of the other way around – what’s further so fascinating’s that it’s really happening the way we’re seeing it well before we even slip away into dreamland, yet that’s an entirely wider conversation for another day altogether – as for now trust in that it’s in this place where we begin to realize we’ve finally landed on the path with our name on it leading us right into all of the splendor and wonder of our very own exceptional destiny – and the beautiful thing about it all is that our destiny amazingly matches everything truly in our hearts as the very same that arrives in our dreams and vision – it’s synergy at its finest, it’s a symbiotic relationship that speaks to us, it’s the perfect simpatico with God and indeed with our very lives and the reason we’ve been given life and the gifts we’re so blessed in arriving with – it’s heaven on earth and your name’s on the reservation – with the kindest regard wishing you God’s every blessing ~rettingerrockfiles/RRF~

I am amazed each and every time I am approached by a stranger where by, after light conversation and banter, some sort of contact literature is exchanged and inevitably at some point …. PRESTO …. something beautiful occurs.

    Case in point:
Earlier this afternoon, I decided to take a break from my legal studies and take ‘LadyBug'[my bro’s kid’s little yappy dog] out for a long walk. The walk gives me an opportunity to think peaceful and semi-clearly about my current situation in life. I find myself in a part of my neighbor I have never ventured and as I round a corner: a car approaches, the driver lover’s his window and sarcastically states, “[y]ou do realize that dog makes you look quite intimidating.” Initially put off by the driver’s remark, I quickly and appropriately re-catorgorized his comment and continued the dialogue. At the conclusion of our momentary interchange, this man presented to me a card. The card had this web address on it. The web address led me to this blurb of Mr. Rettinger’s blog:

“…i’ve come to learn that everything i once felt that was unfair was actually perfectly fine as it’s what i didn’t realize i needed and further it’s what was inevitably leading me right to where i’m at – and where i’m at in many ways is so far ahead of where i was just a few fast years ago to the point i can’t believe i didn’t in fact run everyone in my life off to a distant star – well maybe i wasn’t that clueless and blind but then again, ha! –

That ‘blurb’, puts into text my **EXACT-PINPOINTED** thoughts about my current situation in life as I took a long walk down the street, earlier this afternoon, with that little cute yappy dog.
